We visited the restaurant because of the selection of vegetarian dishes. We were welcomed very friendly by the staff. However, we found the behavior a bit too intrusive and artificial. Unfortunately, the feeling remained that they wanted to force orders on us (asked 3 times in a very short space of time if we wanted water, asked twice if we wanted to drink wine) Still, the vegetarian platter was fantastic and we were happy to pay for it. There was also live music from a simple guitar, which we really liked.

When you arrive and the staff are all wearing clean, white, ironed shirts, you know this is an establishment where high standards are important. If you want touristy, best eat elsewhere. Well to do locals having a meal out, sea views, tasteful live saxophone music (no cover versions of led zeplin songs) and excellent service. The food was outstanding, cared for and beautifully presented. We both had three courses and a bottle of rosé, €116. Most expensive meal we’ve had here BUT you get what you pay for.

We came across this gem by chance! After being completely overwhelmed by all the restaurants advertising, we saw this restaurant! Very polite and courteous service, very tasty food at fair prices and then that view. It was a very harmonious, successful evening! THANKS
The prices are certainly a little higher, but keep in mind that you are in one of the most expensive streets in the capital of Madeira! We found the price/performance ratio very reasonable.

We went on the recommendation of the free tour guide. The fish was tasty. But there were only two drawbacks, the first dish was very little “crunchy Chevre queijo”, it was two pieces of breaded cheese and the surprise came when they brought us the bill and the prices did not match the menu. The letter has the prices without VAT, we feel cheated.
