I only think about the food, we were not hosted. Everything was very rich. Meat and fish. The cheesecake is delicious.
Also to say that they were very friendly and we went to eat after 4 p.m.

Most delicious chicken skewers i’ve had in my life, never thought i will ever write a review about chicken skewers, but they were really nicely seasoned and prepared on a wooden fire. My husband had a tasty beef egg steak and fries, which were also delicious and on top we got to enjoy them with a great view to Funchal&the ocean while breathing the fresh mountain air. Restaurant is very nicely decorated in a rustic mountainy style and the owner who also served us was very, very hospitable…Big thank you for making our day, this place should become a sort of prerequisite pit stop for everybody going or coming back from Eira do Serrado who needs a recharge of batteries.

Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans le restaurant. Nous avions reservé une table sur internet, qui était prête à notre arrivée. Le gérant est tres aimable et serviable. Le bolo do caco est exquis (un des meilleurs que nous avons mangé depuis notre arrivée) et nos plats etaient tres bons !! Allez-y sans problème, je vous le recommande !

First place we ate and stayed at after arriving in Madeira. The room was great, very clean and with a very nice view of Funchal. The food was perfect, we had lapas, picado and fish with banana and maracuja, all were great. Recommend 100%!!!

Very good address. Warm welcome, very nice boss who makes the effort to speak French. Very good quality local dishes. You have to taste the limpets. I highly recommend this establishment.
