The place was very nice, in the heart of old town. The area was crowded but the center looks this so it's fine. We ordered chicken steak, vegetable soup and pasta, everything was good. Service was really great. Ambience was nice as well. So I would definitely suggest this place for a nice dinner.
We ordered tuna stake and skewer of assorted fish. Tuna was absolutely ruined (overdone big time) with absolutely no presentation as a dish. Fish Skewer was good and I would order it again. Service was very average.
Resume: there are plenty restaurants in downtown of Funchal, don't waste your time and money on this one.

We went there twice. The first time was amazing (beef on a stone with fries, bolo da caco and beef steak with sauce), the second time was also really good (beef on a stone with fries, bolo da caco, limpets and fish soup, but I didn't like the soup as the fish was quite hard as resembled meat more than fish).
