Restaurante Informal serves some of the most tasty and delicious food I've come across in Funchal, and the charming and cozy atmosphere just adds to the experience. We've gone through most of their menu during our stay on Madeira in February, and along with some amazing hiking experiences, the food from Informal is still being brought up as one of the highlights of our visit!
One of the best places in Funchal to spend time with friends over lunch or dinner. Innovative dishes, always fresh, with authentic flavor. A corner in the streets of the city of Funchal that is completely fascinating due to the quality of its cuisine, service and of course the high quality of its dishes.
We had an amazing time ! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very friendly. I totally recommend this restaurant. Be there early though since they don't take reservations.
