Very nice atmosphere, nice staff. However, the food left a lot to be desired. The cod and chicken were tough and the portions were generally very small. All in all, clearly too expensive for the quality on offer.

The people are great and the venue is very relaxing. At least the lower terrace. The upper floor is a bit noisy due to being right at the street. So we recommend the downstairs area. The 3 course menus are inexpensive and you have a lot of great options. The food while good is not best in class. We still visited 3 times during our stay and will come back when we come back to Madeira.

The staff were very friendly. We had Madeira wine as a compliment on the house, which was nice. The pepper steak and the clams were very good. The salmon fillet was nothing special. The tiramisu was quite a disappointment

Erg mooie tuin waar je heerlijk zit. Prijs kwaliteit is goed maar de voorgerechten waren mwa. Meloen met ham kon wel beter gepresenteerd worden. Hoofdgerechten waren erg smaakvol.
