The food was very good. We ordered some prawns, stuffed chicken, swordfish, spaghetti and spicy chicken. All very good. Very generous quantities.
The waiters are super friendly. They were very attentive to make sure everything was fine and they even recommended things to do in the area.
I would recommend it without hesitation.

It eats phenomenally.
Kid-friendliness: We ate fresh fish of the day. Spectacular. The attention of 10!! We went with our 5 year old daughter and it was also great with her.

We had dinner at O Regional this evening and everything was excellent. We had 2 different espetadas, chicken and beef, and both were great. As mentioned by other reviewers, they use the laurel sticks for the espetadas, which is the traditional method. It was served with fries, milho frito and salad. We also had the monk fish and shrimp rice, which was so amazing! The waiters were very attentive. The prices were reasonable too, so you can confidently go to O Regional and I'm sure you'll love it!

Very good skewers cooked in bay leaves which gave a very good taste (we took chicken, bacon and beef), the fries were also very good. The best skewers we ate in Madeira. We paid around €16.50 for each skewer + side dish.
The waiter tried to speak French to us like in many places, it was friendly.
