We wanted somewhere close from our hotel (Cliff Bay) to have dinner. This was a Monday evening and we walked in without a reservation and got a table no problem. The restaurant did get very busy as the evening went on. We had a Bruschetta starter, two main courses (Tuna Salad & a Cannelloni) , Tiramisu, bottle of water and half bottle of wine, with a tip came to 65 euros. Without doubt the best value meal we had in Funchal and the food was pretty good. The service was good and friendly and the atmosphere in there was very nice. I'd recommend it and would definitely go again.

Marvellous atmosphere in this busy restaurant. Melt in the mouth pork knuckle and osso bouco with perfectly cooked veg. Attentive staff. Excellent experience. Will revisit soon.

We should’ve known seen as it was almost empty at lunchtime on a Friday… sad, floppy, undercooked pizza dough which was far too thick. Dirty tablecloth and glasses. The sangria was nice.

We went here based on a recommentaion from other guests at our hotel and really enjoyed it. Good food and some different options. It is quite small and we went on a very busy night so there was a short wait for our food, but that didn't bother us. I'm sure we'll be back on our next visit.

Lovely little restaurant, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Unfortunately the most important ingredient is the food. I ordered lamb chops with salad and sauté potatoes. What arrived was raw lamb chops, vegetables, salad and chips! I sent the lamb back and it arrived a few minutes later, burnt black and raw near the bone. Eat what we could, paid up and left, will not be returning.

My wife and I had an evening meal which we both enjoyed. She is vegan and although there was little on the menu that she could have, the chef prepared something for her. The restaurant was clean and the staff very friendly. We booked to dine there again in a few days.

We enjoyed 3 lovely meals here during our holiday in Funchal. The ambience and decoration are excellent and the staff are very friendly. We always shared the tropical salad for a starter which was delicious with large freshly cooked prawns. My favourite main was the veggie lasagne which was loaded with different vegetables and lots of garlic mushrooms. My husband really enjoyed the Osso Buco which was a special on our last visit. The meat just fell off the bone. We thought the food was excellent value for money hence our return visits. The only negative was the service was a bit variable. The first night a little rushed, the second an hour wait for the main, but last night was spot on. I would highly recommend a visit here a visit here for tasty Italian food.

This restaurant wasn't open when my wife and I last visited Madeira two years ago, and we were excited to try it as we love Italian food, and this restaurant is situated very close to where we were staying. Well, we were not disappointed. We visited three times, and the food was fabulous, as was the friendly service. My particular favourite was tagliatelle al parmigiano, prosciutto, pancetta e noci, closely followed by the chestnut risotto; both absolutely delicious. My wife also tried the meat lasagna, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We both tried two versions of peperoni pizza, one slightly spicier than the other, and both were excellent. The prices represent fair value for money given the quality of the food. We are looking forward to revisiting this restaurant on our next trip to Madeira, so that we can try other dishes from the extensive menu. In short, very enjoyable indeed.
