I do not have words to explain how tasty, fresh and nice their food is. It is a place where locals eat. The waiters are so experienced that they already know what you want. You must try Espetada(meat on skewer) and for vegetarians( the special burger) on the menu. Bravo, bravo, bravo!!!

Don't be fooled by first impressions-what you will get here is service with a smile and sandwiches with great taste at a calm open square. And the prices are top-i recommend the "prego" sandwich and the premosos (lupin seeds?) as a starter

Ok, we roamed around this place for 2 days, checking what local's were having. Finally found it again and plucked the courage to go in. Best decision we did, definitely try the beef in local bread, pork in bun and they have a different dish as a side dish (instead of peanuts) just if you order a beer , awesome flavours. Definitely a must visit. Staff and manager is super nice too

Amazing place to grab a bite with great atmosphere and friendly service. We tried signature bolo de caco com ovo - with beef, tomato, lettuce, ham, cheese and egg - the best sandwich I’ve tried in my entire stay in Madeira. Freshly made, it will keep you going on all the explorations.

Tasty food for a low price. After ordering the omelet, the chef asked whether I was vegetarian. After I confirmed, he checked several times whether everything was okay for me and prepared a separate starter for me. Very friendly and attentive!
