Fantastic value for money at this family run restaurant. Juliana is a very friendly host who like all the best customer service staff , does not forget you . We went last September 2022 and again this week on our second visit to the island . Menu of the day at 5.30 euros is well worth it , the seafood rice we had this week was superb , and the 1/2 portion was a substantial meal . Would recommend it very highly
Stopped here for lunch with Juca from Azores Expeditions in the middle of our day-long archaeology tour (highly recommended, BTW, if you love archaeology). Decided on the ox-tail alcatra. Enough for two people, but it was so good I ate it all myself... Incredibly friendly, family run establishment. Small. Intimate. Mostly local folks. Highly recommended...
A local photographer took me there for lunch. It is a family run restaurant where locals hang out. That was indeed the case the afternoon I was there we were greeted by a mother and daughter team, who were friendly and the service was fast even though they were very busy. I had limpets and cod fritters. Both were very good. I will certainly go back on my next visit.
