Very poor choice for Vegetarians

Vegetarian options: Burger was soggy and undercooked.

We went to try the dish of the day, a tasty piano at an affordable price. Pleasant outdoor space.

The worst meal I had in Portugal . Disgusting that they actually charge you for what they serve . The overweight toothless waiter makes dirty jokes about the customers in Portuguese thinking that nobody understands him . Five Star Tourist Trap . Terrible example of Madeiran Cuisine . - ( minus ) *****

Very long waiting time, the food was okay.

We had octopus for starters and Bolo do caco, an excellent combination. Mains grilled sea bass and the scabbard fish were a decent size and both delicious. Money well spent.

Overpriced. Overpriced. Overpriced. For the price you pay you barely get much food that shouldn’t cost more than a few dollars. The turkey steaks are just 4 very small breasts with a slice of pineapple.. and that’s it unless you order sides which is the price of a second meal. Service took their sweet time, even to order drinks, food took even longer. Sangria was sugar water. Better places in the area, don’t waste your money because it’ll be a lot.

We both had fish, it was very nice. The traditional fish with banana and passion fruit is strange but good.
This place felt expensive compared to similar local places where sides were included.

The restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of our hotel and is busy every day. Today we had lunch for the first time and we understand why the tables are always occupied. The traditional dish Espetada was served on a laurel skewer - just as our guide recommended, delicious. But the burger with the name of the restaurant was also delicious! Of course, the local bread couldn't be missed. If you have more of an appetite, you can also order the skewer with an additional side dish. There, too, the selection is impressive.
Overall, the menu is very varied and you can also order small things. We recommend! Also the price-performance ratio.
