We have eaten the typical bread from here (bolo de caco), lapaz grelhadas, espetada de fillete, vegetable cream and lomo with hot plate. For my bread and espetada they were better, as was meat for my husband. I didn't really like mollusks, but it was an experiment for me, I think I'm more of a carnivore. In the end they gave us two shots of typical wine from here, it was a very kind gesture, the wine is sweet, a good choice instead of dessert

We called in here twice, both times we were served by the same lady, she was very friendly she made us feel very welcome. There was a great choice of drinks both local and named. Very nice pub we were able to watch the football too. Highly recommend this pub.

I visited when the Ukraine v England charity game was happening, and no one on the island knew where we could watch it (or that it was even a thing). We found "The Irish Pub Sports Bar" on Maps and headed here - and I'm very glad we did as the game was, indeed, on! Classic Irish small pub, with a good beer selection. The atmosphere was lovely, very clean and modern interiors (unexpected for an irish pub - but I'll take it!), the beer cold, the location is right by the coast and I can recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a familiar pint by the seaside.
