We visited twice and the place really depends on who's working that day. First day was amazing but second was far from it. The waiter got the orders wrong, never cleaned up the table but just kept adding plates, leaving both empty glasses and used plates, had to ask twice for them to remove them. Took over ten minutes to get the drink menu after dinner and the two waiters blamed each other for the delay.
But the firs night was amazing service, that's the reason we came back. Hopefully they were new to the job and they will get better. Being slow and forgetting things are ok for a new person. But blaming your colleagues, being unpolite and having very little customer service is not really that good.
The food was really good and they have amazing drinks! The atmosphere is great, both nights.

Espada excellent. Pleasant service. Only the poncho can be bought better elsewhere, but neva. And the Nikita cocktail is here only with wine, without beer. Overall, I recommend the company.

Overall just a basic pub, nothing special. Smoking everywhere, inside outside, anywhere you want. Because the tables are so close together it means the non-smokers end up stinking of smoke. Staff not overly great and you wait ages for your change. As if they forget to give you your €7 change back and expect it as a tip, pretty poor really, which is why we only went once. Best give it a miss, better drinks outlets very close by.

Great restaurant/bar, super nice service, relaxed atmosphere and the food is excellent, whether it's a snack or a main course. Highly recommended are the black scabbardfish with banana and passion fruit sauce and the hamburgers. Everything else looked very good too, but we didn't try that. Rich selection of beer, homemade good poncha and delicious sangria. Well attended by local guests too, always full, but we always got a seat, even without a reservation.

Nice, clean and cozy restaurant. I don’t drink beer in Portugal because I don’t like it, but here it’s fresh and tasty? large portions, the salads are very tasty and my son liked the tomato soup? I can safely recommend it!!!!

The best place to eat something delicious in Madeira! The atmosphere of this place is great. And the food is even better (I recommend the hot dog made from Argentinian meat). The waiters are very nice and friendly!
