Standards exceed by far everything we have encountered so far. Personnel very friendly and cheerful, there are some Juwels to be found among the wines, trust in the sommelier who will be happy to bring them to you. We highly recommend this restaurant as a high end, lovingly decorated highlight of your culinary voyage to Madeira Island.

We stayed at the adjacent hotel (which was great). Usually I think of a hotel restaurant as somewhere you go when you’re too tired to head into the town. In this case, the restaurant very much stands on its own two feet. I think it’s probably the best restaurant and most pleasurable experience we had while we were in Madeira. We ate there several times, and in each case the meal was excellent. The inside of the restaurant is pleasant, but the outside is a real delight.

A very good address. The dishes are a feast for the eyes and the palate. Anyone who is willing to spend 100 euros on a great dinner, including a good bottle of wine, expects great service in return, is happy to accept the double greeting from the kitchen and would like to go back to their hotel satisfied after dinner should choose this restaurant visit.
