The service was very committed and always attentive. The dishes were very good, espetada and herb-crusted salmon. Only the Bolo do Caco was “different” from what we knew. You had to spread the bread with garlic/herb butter yourself, but that was completely okay. This means the guests can decide for themselves how much garlic/herb butter they would like to have on it.
The restaurant is worth recommending if you are in the west of Funchal near the Forum Madeira.

Worth a visit. I simply had the smoked salmon salad and tomato soup for lunch, but they were a great tasting and a great value. Both were tasty and ample. They were generous with the salmon and the dressing was delicate. I'll definitely go back to try the more elaborate meals.

Fantastic restaurant. Many Dutch people come here and they also know where to find it. The portions are huge and of very high quality. In our case, the service was a bit crooked, but also very competent and correct. They also cook delicious food for children. Parking is difficult here, so come on foot.
