My husband and I tried this place on our last night in Furnas and it did not disappoint! It truly feels like a fairytale walking into the garden, the whole venue is very cute and charming. We had the shrimp, fried chorizo, olives, and cheese board and all were delicious. I dont recommend dessert here, we had far better at every other restaurant we tried on the island. Otherwise 10/10 recommend trying this place!

Very nice place, not too busy during our visit but food was nothing special and we were waiting for check for too long. I would recommend to visit other restaurant

Very relaxed place . The staff is okay but not enthusiast. The quality of the food is also good but not special. We’ve had dinner twice at this restaurant and the waiter recognized us so that is positive.

We ate lunch here during our day in Furnas. The atmosphere is nice with the open space to the outside. We ordered a chicken sandwich and fish and chips. The chicken and the fish were both good but the portions were on the small side.

On our second night in Furnas the weather became really nice, sunny and no clouds so we wanted to eat outside. We found A Quinta and we got to sit outside in the garden on tree blocks and the table was a tree slab - super cool. Service was friendly, vibes were good. We both ordered the fish n chips but being east coast Canadian our standards are a little high. Could have been better but wasn’t bad! Mojito was very sugary.

Very delicious seafood (fresh fish from the day’s catch). Drinks at the bar are wonderful and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Certainly worth a visit or more while in Furnas.

Very nice, beautiful and calm restaurant. We couldn't help sitting there for a long time. Very good atmosphere. Service is also good. Cozida is good.

Very nice main courses, friendly semi outside atmosphere. Desserts were okay. Service was fast at the start but then we had to wait about 45 minutes for the bill (it wasn’t particularly busy). Had a very nice local white wine, some of the nicest wine we had on the island.

Food was very good and service friendly and quick. Good place for a quick bite but also to spend the evening. Chairs outside (tree stumps) not the most comfortable if you plan on staying there for longer time.

Mid June 21:30pmDining and an entertainment venue.Dining, food was delivered fast and very good our table ordered the fava beans stew, shrimp and garlic butter and lastly the chicken steak sandwich. Their furnace one pot signature dish was sold out. So if you have your heart set on it, be sure to go early in the evening.Service was great for myself being only English speaking.Venue, Wednesday evening brought in a saxophone player to accompany the whole evening The tables are situated around a stage for other performances throughout the week. Highly recommend to anyone who's considering dining within the Furnas hamlet

We stopped into A Quintas for dinner our first night in Furnas. The atmosphere was fantastic. Seating is part outside and part under cover but it is the most stylish decor we have seen this week on the island. We ere directed to choose our table - the only ones free were next to the stage and there was someone setting up to play. We were a little nervous but as it turned out, the performer was fantastic - not too loud, not too reverent. There were lots of families and kids running around. We came back a second time and sat outside in the garden. We could choose to sit under the lime tree or the orange tree. The seating was not super comfortable but worked for the length of time we were there. We ate grilled local fish, fish and chips and burgers. The grilled local fish and hand cut potato chips were the highlight.

We loved this place! It is so cozy, you can dine in their beautiful garden surrounded by orange and avocado trees. It is a step up from the rest of the Furnas quite old-style looking restaurant scenery. We went both times for a variety of small plates and they were all awesome (chorizo, black sausage, limpets, cheeses etc). Nice selection of wines, tasty cocktails and fresh local beers on tap. We were also paid a visit by a local cat who we became friends with :) Must visit place in Furnas!

Very clean and cosy environment. Food was good but not amazing and the dish we ordered was a bit small for two even though it was supposed to be for two. Bonus points for cute and charming cat!
