The best restaurant on our Azores trip! The ambience is really beautifully designed. The menu was very tasty and harmonious. You can notice the attention to detail here. The waiters are very charming. There are also very fine cocktails. I would happily visit the restaurant again at any time.

We had a great time yesterday hanging with G & eating very interesting food. We are from nyc & concept food for us is very interesting. They changed the menu to accommodate my allergy. Started with watermelon gazpacho soup, had amazing local fish, tempura shallots , potatoes & mushroom dish very interestingly prepared, corn over coals & wonderful cherry /chocolate merengue & ice cream desert. The menu is for a sophisticated palate. Don’t expect home cooked food.

Unfortunately our worst meal on the island. The dishes don’t add up conceptually and definitely don’t deliver. The drinks were fine, the service was good but the food was just bad. Empanada, dry, hard and tuna over cooked, hard and salty. The bean dish with poached eggs were great by why accompany them with a sorbet over a hard bread? Basics gone wrong unfortunately.

We ended up eating burgers at our hotel after. The staff should know something is up. No one seemed happy in the restaurant.

Delicious cocktails but very disappointing food. The empanada was so hard it wasn’t edible and most customers only ate the inside which was very bland and accompanied by chips that were swimming in fat. Very disappointing experience.

Such a beautiful place for dinner! The food was wonderful - local, fresh and interesting flavors and the cocktails were impressive. The staff was genuine, attentive and super sweet to my mom who was celebrating her 80th. It was a great choice and easy to get to from our hotel in Furnas. Next time, we will also stay in this hotel!

Ambience was incredible. Service was very good. The food unfortunately was mediocre particularly considering presentation and the price range. We had grilled fish, beef, lentil mushroom stew and seafood stew. Beef was pretty good and the best of the bunch. Fish was overcooked. Stews were pretty unremarkable. Desserts were Pana Cotta that was too gelatinous and papaya cake that was pleasant but could use a little more papaya flavor.

The atmosphere and the service was great, the food was good but did not meet the price range the restaurant is targeting. The food looks better as it tastes. The starters are very small (beef tartar for instance 2-3 bites), the mains were fair in size, but nothing special in terms of taste. The deserts were tasty and had some character. The cocktails are way overpriced (18 euros per drink is way too expensive, guys, you serve them not on the rooftop garden in Paris or Michelin 2* restaurant in Zurich). Taken together, the concept is good but the price/quality ratio is disappointing.

The cuisine is refined and excellent. Sophisticated and original dishes that won us over

Beautifully designed space, all the dishes sound and looked amazing, however the taste was unremarkable, barely any flavor. We tried octupus salad, mushroom stew, grilled fish, meat dish and seafood stew and panacotta. Sadly disappointing.

Nothing really special. I saw photos in Google of dishes and l was looking forward to visiting this restaurant, but they said that all photos are old and they already have new menu, I suppose together with menu they changed chef also. We ordered stewed angus meat with sweet potatoes, we expected something really special but in fact it was usual Ukrainian dinner stewed meat with potatoes and the worst part - potatoes were under cooked((
We also ordered ice cream as a dessert, it is called yogurt and honey, in fact it was frozen yogurt with honey on the top
But, I added one star because they didn’t count the ice cream because of situation with potatoes.
