Cheese restaurant in the Azores. Who would have thought? It is located rather inconspicuously in the town of Furnas. Discovered by chance while looking for a parking lot. Various own products that can be purchased or consumed directly in the restaurant. Hamburgers with fries are also offered. The highlight, however, is the cheese/meat platter with various ingredients, which is brought to the table on a wooden board. The different types of cheese from the Azores are explained to you. It was very nice and you almost felt like you were in the mountains, also because of the ambience and the cow wall poster.
So if you find yourself in Furnas, pay this place a visit. Almost an island within an island.

The burger and its garlic bread with cheese were very delicious, the cheese puffs with white chocolate were curious, although just to try them...I wouldn't take home a box

We went for dinner, the waiter at the entrance was quite rude, the place was really too noisy. Limited and poorly assorted menu. Good quality food and fair prices

Very nice surprise for us with great beef, cheese and deserts choice, all their own production.

Parking: Quite a few free spaces nearby

Delicious food (we had the garlic bread and the hamburger) and loved it. Eat here, especially if you love cheese!

Delicious local products Cheese, beef... Burgers look very good, garlic bread and salad with fresh Azorean cheese as well as the chicken wings with probably home-made fries were very good and the price was very fair. Nice and friendly courteous service. Very nice atmosphere.

We love the cheese board (grande) tasty cheese and meats! Cheese bread, wings, salad, and bbq sandwich all tasted great! Drinks are dissapointing - no fresh juices just all bottled carbonated drinks. Its a busy place when the park closes so expect to wait.

Real cheese factory, in one of the rooms you can see how they package their cheeses. Good service, delicious food and very local atmosphere. I would return without thinking about it.
