A perfect place to try the authentic cocido das Furnas made underground with the heat emanating from the caldeiras. The portions are large, so think about sharing among several even if it serves 2. If you want soup, it comes separately, since the stew itself does not have liquid, but rather the typical vegetables and meat that accompany it. In addition, the waiters were very nice and made our food very pleasant.
We have eaten here twice during our stay on the island. The service is very friendly and attentive. Very good food. The octopus (the most tender we have ever eaten) and the squid (tender and very tasty) are totally recommended. We would return without a doubt.
