I had a lovely meal here tonight . The restaurant has a vegan menu and a dish or two off the main menu are suitable. Also a proper vegan dessert which has been illusive here up until now.
I had the fennel orange and hazlenut salad to start great big plate of mixed lettuce with generous amounts of the other ingredients (might be a main size!) Bean chilli which was nice and came with organic rice and veg although it wasn't at all spicy. There was a gf yam based chocolate dessert, texture was between a mousse and a cake, a bit different and very tasty.
The staff were really great helpful and friendly. The food came quickly as did the drinks and the place had a really great ambience and a nice buzz as it was almost full. Would recommend and suggest booking in advance.

Best place in Furnas for vegans. Many options on their meniu. We went there 3 times for dinner during our stay in Furnas. I had the chilli beans dish on the first evening and the vegan couvert and soup on the second. On the last night, i had a vegan pizza and sorbet ice cream for dessert. Everything were very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I only remembered to take photos on the last day.

Magnificent, very chic! Ultra pleasant staff. We drank the best piña colada of our lives there, remastered with Azorean pineapples. Lots of Vegan choices, and fabulous dishes. The fumaroles are not far away so great stop before continuing the visits, however be aware that the smell of sulfur remains everywhere, it can be surprising

Na reserveren voor de serre, wordt je bij aankomst in de lobby gezet. De serre bleek ineens vol. Geen belletje of excuses. Voorgerecht bestond uit taai brood (16 euro), waarvoor we later vers gebakken brood terug kregen. Hoofdgerecht was best lekker maar niet bijzonder. Pizza’s voor de kinderen kaal en teleurstellend voor 15 euro per stuk. Na een paar drankjes en twee nagerechten (en veel en lang wachten) kwam het totaal op 175 euro. Ik betaal graag voor goed eten en een goede ambiance maar hier slaan ze de plank compleet mis. Om je voor te schamen, terug naar de horeca vakschool.

This restaurant located in a four-star hotel is magical. The tables are well spaced, located on a large terrace under a glass roof, creating a warm and romantic setting. The cuisine revisits traditional Azorean dishes in an exquisite and sophisticated manner. Everything is old and tasty. Nice selection of wines and nice signature cocktail menu. It's expensive, but it's worth it for a great evening.

Eines der gelungensten Restaurants für mich auf der Insel. Wir hatten eine super nette Bedienung bei wunderschönen Ambiente und sehr leckerem hochwertigem Essen. Ich denke das Hotal dazu wird ebenfalls so sein. Stilvoll eingerichtet und schön restauriert. Ein Besuch ist auf alle Fälle lohneswert wenn nicht sogar ein MUSS. Komme gerne wieder
