Reasonable price, very fresh cod, sardines and squid. Being a little late, there was no octopus left. They treated us very well. The dishes take a while to come out because they are being grilled right at that moment.

We ended up in Fuseta and at A Lota a bit by accident, and ended up having a great grilled fish lunch there. It can get a bit overwhelming on a hot summer day as most seating is outside (close to 2 huge coal fire grills), but it's also atmospherically located near the water/fishing boats. Fish, including turbot and dorada, is amazingly fresh and superbly prepared - real expert grilling. Probably the best fish meal we had in a 3 week trip. And at less than 25 Euro per person including starters, bread and drinks it's excellent value. Will go again.

We made a reservation for 2 pm at the A Lota restaurant in the Fuseta market square, it took them a while to assign us a table, which was free, to prepare it, as well as to serve us drinks. At 3:36 p.m. they still had not served us food. The grilled sardines were not fresh at all, soft and with the guts coming out in the form of a brown liquid, the worst we have been served in Portugal. The cooked potatoes were hard, yellow and with rough skin, not at all appetizing even after peeling them. The lettuce and onion were soggy and especially the tomato, which smelled of acid. The octopus was not very fresh either and was presented to us in a raft of oil. Just the opposite of Casa Corvo, which is next door, so if it's closed, don't even think about eating there.

We have been coming for 7 years and it is getting better and better. Today in particular a very good frango and some sardines to die for!!! Of course, accompanied by a salad, and delicious cooked vegetables....and homemade fries like your grandmother's....to die for!!!!

We went with a reservation, we were seated early and ordered, but we had to wait almost an hour and a half for them to bring us the four dishes we had ordered, including a super basic salad. The food is good, but not to wait that long. We won't go again.
