5 ☆ All those who commented 1 star, maybe it's their problem or they got confused with a nearby restaurant that has the same name. There are new restaurants that are behind this tavern. Homemade food, everything very clean (I took a look at the kitchen and bathroom too), extremely friendly staff and everything for a super reasonable price. I leave the very few restaurants where my belly is happy! ??

Great place! We were lucky to get sardinha assado. Soup, Fresh fish, salad, drink, coffee and dessert and complementary food (olives and bread). All for €12. I was really full ? nice people and clean place. Recommend!

Typical Portuguese food (very good!) and great desserts (I recommend the apple pie). There is a baby seat but no changing table. All the staff are friendly and very attentive. Typical tavern atmosphere, and there aren't many tables, it's best to go early. Price per menu (bread, olives, soup, main dish, drink, dessert and coffee): €12. I recommend it and without a doubt we will be back!

Homey comfort! ? €12 for a whole menu set with soup, a vast choice of drinks (wine included), main course (choice of meat and fish) coffee and dessert!Fish was so immaculately grilled, that I even ate the skin. The scales on the fish skin can be better cleaned up aside, fish and side dishes were just as fresh and like home cooked by mom.Service was attentive and allergy aware (they are able to point me to gluten and lactose free options, plus list out ingredients).Tables were almost full before 1pm. Completely full by 13:30 on a Monday lunch time. Agree with other contributors: Come earlier to enjoy!5 stars hands down. Will definitely come again.
