Magnificent place. You will not regret it. Essential in El Caminho. Exquisite fresh fish, grilled. Unbeatable price. Charming, friendly owners and great cooks

Ordered meal of the day, which was a grilled Dorade (fish). The pure tastes of the ingredients combined with the ambiance gave an authentic feeling of “mommas cooking”.
For 8€ I ate a bowl of vegetable soup, a big main course, drank two glasses of great green wine and a cup of coffee.
This must have been one of my favorite meals during the Camino De Santiago, and definitely the biggest value for money.

We stumbled upon this place on our Camino and it was some of the best food we had on the entire trip. We tried the daily menu with soup, grilled fish, the wine of the house and a cup of coffee. The grilled fish was amazing. Thank you for the hospitality and great food!

A place that you cannot miss if you are a pilgrim and are going to eat in Fao.
Excellent local product, both fish and vegetables. We don't try the meat. Very good relation cost quality. The owners very friendly. Attentive and close treatment.

I went almost every Sunday to have lunch at this restaurant on the terrace (I loved it) nice lady, reasonable food for the price until the day they served grilled sea bass, I thought the color and texture were strange, I started eating, I ate a little but I couldn't eat any more, I warned the lady who shrugged her shoulders even though she already knew usThey charged me for the dose, I only ate the potatoes and got gastroenteritis, I never went back there.....

Restaurant with a homely atmosphere and homemade food, customers are already used to the friendliness of Mr. João and his wife, who always welcome everyone who arrives, in the good Northern way!dishes of the day with fair prices for those who work and not only, those who want to go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful village of FíO, famous for its bright lights and the beauty of the landscape right next to Cavado!!

Great food and nice service. My husband and I are trying to find similar Portuguese restaurants, where the food is prepared with love! And here the love was palpable.? Two portions, wine (0.5l), espresso and 2 sweets - the bill is 19eur. It pleasantly surprised us! I definitely recommend Camino pilgrims to stop by!?
