Food quality amazing fresh and they have a cute water front terrace! Not pricy at all! A little gem I recommand 100%.??
When we pulled up we nearly drove on. However we live in Portugal and know that some of the best places don't look much from the outside. So glad we stopped. We had fantastic whole grilled sea bass and whole grilled sea bream (robelo and dourada) served with portuguese vegetables and delicious grill roasted potatoes. The grilling of the fish was perfect, moist and charred in the right places. Fish was on the bone but cut in a way so you didn't need to flip it to eat it. They also have great dessert with my wife living the camel drool ( google it). All in all a great typically Portuguese meal. Simple and delicious.
We have had a lunch break. Very good good. Perfect view from the Tatrach to the beach and lagoon. Very nice personnel. No problem in communication in English. Strongly recommend. Adam from Poland
Good fish and octopus, delicious dessert, great cocktails, all served in a friendly way by the owners.
We had a lovely meal here, very fresh fish, and fabulous desserts! We sat outside, with a view across the lagoon which was lovely. The family run restaurant is busy at weekends, but we had a quiet night, which was perfect, with very friendly staff. We also stopped off here for a drink after being out for the morning, and it was great to sit on the beach with the dogs...
We wished we had found this place before our last night. The place sits on a lovely beach and at night time you look across at the twinkling lights on the other side. The food which is cooked fresh was so tasty and presented well. This is a family run restaurant and shows as they were so friendly. Diogo the son who looked after us is very knowledgeable on the local bird life and a joy listening to his stories. Very reasonably priced and in my opinion much nicer and better service than the few restaurants on the main front. This is a place that has been developed during a very stressful time and I am so glad that we found it. When we are next on holiday in that area we will definitely go back.
Simple restaurant situation almost on the beach. Very few restaurants to choose from in this area. We entered expecting very little but had a pleasant surprise. Lovely owners, we ordered a gin and tonic, not sure if they had gin etc. We waited quite a while and began to wish we had just asked for a beer. Our gins finally arrived, delicious, beautifully presented with spices and orange twist. The owner had worked in London for many years. Fresh fish, simple salad, not a lot on the menu but all cooked to perfection. This is a little local restaurant running on a budget, not a lot of tourists even in August, we were very happy to support them..
