Definitely a place you have to visit to get something a little out of the ordinary. Very good local brewed beer in different varieties.Intimate place with pleasant atmosphere and friendly waiter. Speaks good English for those of us who don't know Portuguese. Absolutely pleasant and worth a visit ??

Pleasant space, good beer and service with a smile. Local products, including handicrafts. In general, very different from the other options in the town of Belmonte. It's worth a visit.

The food was mediocre and overpriced. There were 4 of us, we decided to share a platter of cheese, chorizo and a local delicacy of mushroom sausage as a starter. It was served with a few squares of bread and 2 sweet sauces, which tasted similar, my guess would be plum. It cost €17 which was highly priced for the slivers of cheese and small dish of thinly sliced meat and squishy mushroom sausage. Other than the price and quantity, it tasted good. Next we all ordered the special Cabralina burger, there was limited choice and a few things were off the menu. The burger came in an oversized bread roll with a slice of flavoursome cheese, sadly the burger meat was tasteless, and was overpowered by the cheese and a horrid mouldy taste and smell, which I'm not sure was the cheese or the bread, but was very off putting and permeated every mouthful, this dish was served with spicy potato wedges which were barely warm and of the horrid reconstituted potato, frozen variety. No salad or vegetables and cost a ridiculous €10 each. We chose this place as it was my partner's birthday day out to Belmonte and I'd read they have craft ale, but at €4.50 per 330ml bottle the beer was wildly expensive, so he decided on only 1. This was a shame as he said it was nice and would have bought more to bring home if the price was a euro or two over the normal good pricing of beer in Portugal at around €1.50 for the same size bottle. I hope they review their pricing of the beer as the product is good and would sell more at a not so stupid price. They have an interesting range of specialty teas and these were priced well and the lady serving us was delightful. The shop sells locally made preserves, beautifully tailored wool jackets, hats, sheepskin slippers and handmade jewellery, these are all high end quality items. The place is small, cramped, lacked atmosphere as a place to eat. Maybe a bit of background music, perhaps Fado, would have helped to merge the various factors, or to be able to sit outside in nicer weather. The toilet takes quite a bit of manouvering to get in and out of as is really tiny.Sadly, overall we left very disappointed, and cannot recommend the food and felt ripped off. We will not return, there are many more eateries in this village to try.

Incredible space. In addition to having meal menus, it sells regional products. The space is very welcoming, the tables are made using old sewing machine tables, the chairs are vintage and the walls are decorated with plates. All given by residents of the area. The girls who were serving are also very friendly and attentive to the customer.

It's a really cool, vibrant, and surprising small Café. I had a wonderful afternoon working there with my laptop. The staff were very pleasant and helpfulYou can get there coffee but also a variety of foods and food items from the region, including cheese, sausages, maelades etc. Prices are affordable and suitable. Very recommended!
