I thought this was quite a great find. Almost everyone in my group ordered the same thing - veal with mushroom sauce. The sauce itself was creamy and delicious. The eyes of my nephew’s daughter popped out when she saw the huge hamburger that she ordered.
Reservations may be necessary as this is a popular place. Enjoy!

After looking for a restaurant to have lunch, we found A Taverna which was a surprise. We were traveling with our two dogs, who were very well received at the restaurant. We came back the next day for lunch.

Restaurant and grocery store with vintage decor. Unfortunately, I can't say I had the best experience. Despite the friendliness of the person in charge, the service was a little slow, but the room was full. After 20 minutes of sitting down, we still didn't have any menus, so I ended up going to get them from the counter. They were helpful with requests and information provided. I ate the alheira which was very good, but unfortunately the dish was bathed in oil and vinegar. I didn't try the mushroom snack, but those who ate it said it lacked flavor. The sea bass was huge and all dishes were generously served. Maybe we had a worse day.

A titre d’exemple, nous avons payé 8€ notre pichet de vino verde contre environ 4€ dans les autres restaurants de notre voyage. Autrement le service est très rapide et le personnel très aimable!
