The food was very good. The portions are large. The food is regional and freshly prepared in the kitchen. This makes up for the rather small selection of dishes. In addition to the main courses, there is a fine selection of starters and homemade desserts.
The service was also very friendly.

To begin with, in addition to the room being hot and the lights constantly going out, there is no television or internet service. The potatoes and the soggy tomato mixture with courgette were heated in the microwave and had probably been in the fridge for days. Full of flies. Dozens, landing on the food, on us, on the bread, everywhere. Such unfriendly service that I honestly felt bad about not leaving. The lady was cleaning with us eating, with a broom in her hand. This, when we arrived shortly after 1 pm. I got the impression that the lady wanted everything except customers for lunch. We ordered portion portions for two, it only came for one. Clearly he only had enough leftovers for a barely full plate and he didn't want to bother making more. Paperless bathrooms. Stained towel. This was my second visit but it was the last and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Een prachtige plaats voor een heerlijke lunch. Het restaurant ligt bovenop de Peneda-Gerês. Prachtige uitzichten. We namen kalfsvlees met gebakken aardappelen met kool en wortel. Zeer goed bereid. De bediening was zeer attent; we kregen de aardappelen en groenten aangevuld en het koste ook geen moeite het vlees nog wat aan te bakken. Dit heeft te maken met een persoonlijke voorkeur voor gaar eten.Het dessert was ook heerlijk en zelfgemaakt.

Big positive surprise, restaurant with a very welcoming atmosphere, as well as the staff. Very comfortable with a magnificent view, at the top of the Peneda Gerês national park. Various options of high quality meat, from native species. I chose the grilled steak accompanied by mashed potatoes and vegetables, and it would be difficult to improve. The meat was cooked to perfection, very tender and juicy with an indescribable flavor. We accompanied it with a thirty green "Vinhao" which didn't disappoint either. To finish off a homemade dessert.
