We were extremely well received with immense kindness when we went there in 2019, in low season, to the point that they offered us the typical dessert of the house/region, the tijelada!
So much so that it stayed in our memories, and even though I'm only doing it now, I didn't forget to evaluate the experience positively!
On an extremely hot day, it was wonderful for us to have lunch on the terrace, perhaps the best grilled sea bream we've ever eaten!
Mandatory stopping point when we return to Góis, without a doubt!

TOP food, quantity and quality. Very good price. We were a group of 7, very well looked after by Mr Álvaro.
I recommend it for its quality and friendliness.
We will definitely be back.

I didn't eat at this restaurant because the service was so bad.
First the environment was extremely hot and flies everywhere. Then the cutlery was all dirty, I had to ask for a replacement twice and it looked like the waitress was doing me a favor with the look on her face.
We waited 15 minutes for the waitress to come again, even though they hadn't even given us the menu yet. Then it took a while for them to come again to take our orders.
1 hour passed since we were at the restaurant, before 2 bits and 2 cod arrived. Nobody came to tell us anything or ask us anything. Until we decided to ask how long it would take and they informed us that they were still making food for a table of 20.
With this information we decided to leave, I have never seen a restaurant so poorly organized and with such bad employees. And the environment is full of flies and without air conditioning. Worst experience of my life.

What a horrible experience at this restaurant! The service was terrible, it felt like we were bothering them. The inside was full of flies, completely disgusting. The air conditioning didn't work, it was just there for decoration.
The cutlery was dirty and even after asking for a change three times - yes, three times! - they were still dirty. We had to go to the bathroom to wash them ourselves to make sure they were clean. And they even gave us a used napkin!
First and last time I come here. 0/5.

A small but very welcoming restaurant. I stayed in Góis for a few days and ate all my meals here. The portions are generous and the food is excellently prepared - the cook is old school, she tastes like her grandmother's/mother's food. My congratulations to her! The soup that my son ate every meal - excellent. Salt, always on point. Traditional dishes served generously. There is love in the kitchen... but here you cook with love, you can feel it at the first bite. I recommend it and will return. Mr. Álvaro, excellent host, thank you for sharing your moments with our family. Desserts... homemade.
I invite you to visit Góis not only in the summer or during the motorbike gathering, but throughout the year.
Thanks
