Beautiful and very friendly place... The village is very close to Serra da Estrela.We stayed in a very beautiful Hostel, "Pãolourinho", very courteous service and the place is beautiful with all the simplicity of the old one, very clean and private for those with family.The downside is that there are no conveniences or larger markets nearby.It's worth doing the "Rancho" in advance.Note 1000.
We had dinner there today (a Friday at 6:30 p.m.).They have treated us very well from the first moment. We ordered two pizzas with 1 water and 1 coke, and they charged us only €14.20 for everything.The pizzas are good, and you can tell they are homemade.Many thanks for everything!
Who would’ve thought that you would have the most tastiest pizza in the middle of this Portuguese town. By far the best pizza we ever had- fresh thin crust pizza baked in a wood burning oven. Will be back soon.
