Lovely place. Good food! Very friendly owner. We recommend!
On the way back to Lisbon, we googled a nearby place to have lunch, we ended up finding this one, the space is pleasant but the amount paid does not make up for the food you eat, without bread, starters etc, we pay €100 4 children and a couple. Their "doses" are simply plates of food that feed one person and fall short, each plate of food +- 13/14€ each dessert 3.50€ each drink 1.80 water 2.50€ Finally fried cuttlefish with chips not even in Setúbal we pay so much....
We were going from Lisbon to Faro, and at that moment we decided to look for a place to eat in a nearby town. The place is inside the road, therefore with the Google address one thinks that it is not there, but do not give up, continue to the restaurant that is very worthwhile. With clean bathroom, delicious food!!
Kid-friendliness: We are a family with two children aged 9 and 11, and they loved the food, we ordered squid, cod, pork, all very tasty.
Very good restaurant, typical and friendly
Bucolic and "out of the box" place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and outside the circuit of restaurants in Grândola. We were received by the owners of the space, which has been open for a few years, by their parents and grandparents. We ate on the street, under a beautiful and refreshing Alentejo shade and in the company of some pet cats. The dish of the day was carne de alguidar, 3 portions arrived for this family of 4. Well cooked, as well as the fries that accompanied it. The salad, with lots of tomato and cucumber, was delicious. Finally, we rounded off the meal with a fantastic lime and papaya pudding. This time, I didn't take a look at the wine list, I still had a few kilometers to do heading south, but the visible references were mostly Alentejo. The space also contains a grocery store with local products. Also curious is the uniform of the restaurant staff :)
(Translated by Google) We left the highway to come and experience A Venda and we were very happy. It's about 15 minutes from the motorway exit and before you get here you think you've made a mistake and that it can't be here, but then, here it is! Do not give up!It has an interior terrace and the children can be at ease without being worried about the road. The team is very friendly and the service is really good. They are open to different types of specific food and if you call ahead they will be prepared to serve you according to your needs. We didn't call before and even so we managed to eat well without simple carbohydrates, which is our usual diet.

Had a great afternoon there on the beautiful terrace and tried a bbq “fresh linguiça” and açorda a local dish. Vegetarian options as well available.Hosts are super friendly and speak English. Always good to call upfront and make reservations as everything is made in the hour and prepared.
Vegetarian options: Always quinoa, risotto, vegetable, tofu and other vegetarian options available.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out with wheelchair.
A lovely spot just outside Grandola. The hospitality was amazing with lots of vegetarian options offered. We loved eating outside on the terrace. Dog friendly!

The place is about a 25 min detour from the A2, they hadn’t updated their opening hours so when we got there it was closed despite their Google page saying they are open. Not fun with a hungry kid in the car so I’d call ahead to confirm they are actually open before driving all the way out there as there’s nothing else around food wise.
