An unexpected ending. The food was good, the service was good, everything was going well, we ordered two dishes, one of the day and one from the menu and a water, we ordered bread and olives and they asked if we wanted a salad and we said yes. In the end we asked for the bill and were amazed at the value of the salad, €6.50, a lettuce and tomato salad with onion! I live in the Algarve and a salad costs between €1.50 and €2. I stopped for lunch and, although it was a little late, we were well received and there was no problem in serving us a delicious home-style lunch. I had a Lamb Stew and it was delicious. My wife had Carne do Alguidar and it didn't disappoint either.
The price was more than affordable for the quality and quantity presented.

We stopped here after lunch time but we were not denied food. The alguidar meat was very good and the homemade potatoes are worth mentioning! A terrace with plenty of shade and very friendly staff. Super affordable prices.
