Outstanding! This is the type of restaurant I love. Unassuming looks, short menu, incredible food. We had \\\"Chocos\\\" as a starter and rice with clams and prawns as a main. Portions were huge. I'll be back for \\\"Arroz com Lingueirão\\\" next time.

A hidden gem in the south west ! Best place. Keep it to yourself. You need to book in advance.

Dinner for four on the Friday before Christmas. We called the morning of for a reservation a reservation after a truly horrible meal at our hotel - Sublime Comporta the night before. We reached a gentleman who was presumably the proprietor, who spoke no English. With the help of Google Translate, we hoped we had made a reservation for 7:30. We arrived to find a small, mom & pop operation with very simple decor. The restaurant was mostly empty so we were mildly concerned we hadn’t made a good choice, but it was early in the evening, but Portugal standards. The restaurant was seemingly being operation only by the husband in the front of the house and the wife in the kitchen. He was jovial and charming despite a total language barrier. Between Google Translate and letting him order for us, we had one of the 2 or 3 most delicious meals of our 11 day Portugal visit, and probably the most fun one. By mid-way through our meal, the restaurant was packed and we were considering ourselves lucky to have gotten in. The prawns were superb and the lamb, cuttlefish rice and dessert were all very, very good. Dinner for four, with two bottles of wine and dessert was $120!! Don’t miss this place if you have the chance to go.

This place was amazing! The clams coriander rice and the prawns were great! We also had fish. It is not expensive and definitely the best restaurant in the little town.

Well this place was a good surprise. We sometimes stop in Grândola to eat but keep going to the same restaurant that we know. This time it was closed and we ventured somewhere new. I'm glad we did because the food was great and the service very friendly. Don't be fooled by the very traditional and almost cafe type of decor it's a great place to eat

Super friendly and fast service. Nice local (white) wine and the Massa de Peixe is highly recommended! A fish soup, with macaroni pasta just cooked to perfection and fresh fish and gamba. Started with bread and local cheese. Five star lunch!

Following a known Portuguese blogger couple tip, we went her to dinner, even if the looks of the restaurant was not particularly special. What we found was that the looks aren't everything and the food was great. Also nice service, we felt very welcome there. To repeat, for sure!

One of the best traditional restaurants I ever been. And when I say this, I really mean it. I'm not easy to satisfy.
