It is advisable to make a reservation We tried to go to this restaurant without reservation and couldn't get a table that night. The next day we made an appointment and went there for dinner. We ordered bread and olives for starter, (the olives were great) and for the main course, Grilled lamb ribs from Alentejo and Portuguese veal steak. The Lamb Ribs were absolutely PERFECT. For Dessert we ordered Pão Rala. We enjoyed it so much that we went back there a second time for dinner again. This time we only ate appetizers/starters and desserts. Scrambled Eggs à Petisqueira are great! For dessert we ordered a Pajama Doces Alentejanos (a way to try 4 typical sweets) in this case we tried Teculameco (Dessert based on eggs, almonds and icing sugar), Pão Rala (Dessert with gila, almond and egg strands), Enxarcada de Ovos (Eggs, cinnamon and sugar) and Delicia de Castanha ( a Chestnut Delight). All lactose free, to my own delight! All Covid rules are observed and strictly adhered to.
