The food, the service and the atmosphere were great. I'm surprised what we paid after reading previous reviews.
We stopped to eat on the trip and they were very attentive to our baby and our dog. We asked for something to eat and they offered us drumroll rice or beef as the main... I ordered beef, my husband a bifana, he didn't want to eat much because he had to drive.
The waitress insisted if I wanted soup, I asked if it was a menu and she said yes. Accept. Very good vegetable soup that I shared with my baby.
The meat arrived. Very rich.
They stopped serving us.
We had to go in to order a coffee.
So: small bottle of water, cola, bifana, soup, beef and a coffee: €17.
Everything is delicious, nice place but the price doesn't suit me. I think that as they say here, they charge you a little bit of what they want.
Of course they do not accept card payment and they do not give you the ticket.
Kid-friendliness: They allow children and are very friendly. They don't have a changing table but they haven't made it a problem to change a diaper in a corner of the terrace.

Excellent restaurant. Dishes at an affordable price and very good service. We went at night. There is soup and menu. We ordered Panados with rice and potatoes + steaks with mushrooms, rice and fries. I recommend❤️

The experience I had was completely disappointing and noteworthy.Upon arriving at the establishment, we expected to enjoy a pleasant time together, enjoying drinks and snacks. However, we were met with an attitude of indifference from the serving staff. Not only were we ignored for a considerable amount of time upon entering, but we also had to repeatedly request to be served.Furthermore, when we were finally able to place our orders, the staff displayed a complete lack of courtesy and professionalism. Drinks took forever to be served, and when they finally arrived, they were far from up to the standard of quality we've come to expect from Café Alameda.The situation got worse when we realized that my grandson Rogério's request was completely neglected. He was disappointed and sad that he didn't get the attention he deserved. The lack of consideration for customer satisfaction, especially when a child is involved, is unacceptable.As a frequent customer of Cafe Alameda, I expected a pleasant experience like I've had in the past. However, what happened today has negatively affected not only my mood, but also my grandson's view of the establishment.I hope management takes immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure others do not have the same unpleasant experience. I value the quality of service and hope this incident is treated with the seriousness it deserves.
