Great restaurant recommended by the person at reception at the cathedral, right next door. We were alone in the world, served by the boss himself, we gave him carte blanche and we enjoyed his different tapas... and very good ports... go there with your eyes closed!

Today we won the lottery when we arrived in Guarda and, wanting to have a beer near the cathedral, found this wonderful restaurant. Professional and charming, a perfect cod and meat and the wine is not worth mentioning: Cadao vinhas velhas, recommendation of the owner who is a hospitality professional of which unfortunately there is a shortage. Homemade chocolate mouse and port ice cream, delicious too. Incredible.

Went here for dinner while visiting Guarda. Beautiful view of the Cathedral and beautiful place. Read some negative reviews about this place but we were not disappointed. Ordered the gratin de bacalao, mushroom rice, and chevre cheese salad. Everything was delicious and enough for 2 ppl. Then tried the porto icecream and it was perfect ? not excessively sweet, and with all the porto flavor. Highly recommended. Would definitely return when visiting Guarda
