“Had dinner here last night as it’s a 5 minute walk from where we’re staying. Fabulous. Off the beaten track and very small but food was excellent. We had lobster tails and lamb cutlets with homemade mint sauce. Delicious and reasonably priced. Not many vegetarian options but we’re not vegetarian so not an issue.“

“We went because we were on our way to the hotel and what a great success! The food and the treatment were very good. We found a place by miracle. We ordered clams, meat and fish and everything was delicious.

Kid-friendliness: We went with our one and a half year old baby, and she had no problem getting into her high chair and eating our food.“

“What a little gem. Frango da Guia is the best, and this little restaurant made it! Excellent chicken, fast and friendly service, price is unbelievable! Economical and tastiest chicken do Algarve. We had lunch for two and paid 21 euros, with drinks. Located right off Guia roundabout. Parking little bit further, on the street. Not to be missed, when visited Algarve!“

“We came this evening June 3 at 8:30 p.m. We were very well received.
The servers were very present and helpful, available to their customers.
A small panorama on the terrace, very beautiful to see.
Everything was very very good whether it was meat, veggie or fish.

They even made the effort to speak French with us.
Nothing to complain about, I recommend!!!!

“We could hear the chef pounding the scallopini we ordered and it was phenomenal! Our waiter, Alec was superb and attentive. My only knock on this place is the lighting....very bright and cool led bulbs throughout the ceiling. Ambience could have been so improved with softer lighting. Nevertheless, would return in a heartbeat!“

“Excellent restaurant, the welcome is perfect. we took the 1/2 chicken, perfectly cooked and very tasty. Fondant and fragrant as desired. It doesn't look much from the outside but you can go there with your eyes closed, traditional and authentic cuisine. For dessert I recommend the almond tart which is delicious!Be careful, the olives and breads served automatically are chargeable...“

“It's a great place with good food, fantastic cocktails, wonderful staff, and reasonable prices. The only drawback is the excessive seaweed on the beach, which needs thorough cleaning. Without this issue, it would easily be a 5-star experience.“

“Small, nice restaurant, without a special atmosphere. But we came for the food. We ordered Frango da Guia. We have already tested almost all the restaurants in the area that offer Frango da Guia. And we can say that THE Frango here was by far the tastiest! And at a very reasonable price!The welcome was warm and very friendly. Despite the restaurant being packed, the employees always had a smile on their faces. A kindness that you don't often experience when there is stress.The restaurant is unconditionally more than recommended.

“I understand the mixed comments, so I'm gonna make a detailed review concerning the food. Bruschettas : vegetarian was good, but in the salmon the cream cheese was too strong so we couldn't really taste much of the salmon and avocado. Main disches : risotto verde was good but some sand was in it. Tortelloni were good but lacked some acidity to balance the taste. Desserts were too sweets, be it the Pavlova or the meringued lemon tart (too much meringue in both) Overall, original and good but not up to the standards the restaurant sell itself and especially the price. An enjoyable experience nonetheless !“

“We were in many restaurants during our Algarve holiday but this place was the best for us!
We arrived late ( after the beautiful sunset), but they let us to sit down without any negativ comment. They were very kind, especially the waiter. He had fancy and energy ( we were the last eating guests) to teach me how to the portugese people eat the grilled sardines :D (+ I got a traditional salad and bread too as a present! )It was also very kind and thank you again the kindness and experiences! The view also beautiful, food is delicious and they have avarage prices! I recommend to visit them!
