AVOID! WORST PLACE IN ALL PORTUGAL!
It's fine to be a tourist place that takes advantage of tourists in the most touristy spot in Guimaraes but here it really borders on theft. I ordered a natural apple and kiwi juice for €5 and a glass arrived with a transparent liquid made up of a liter of water, 5 huge ice cubes and a small amount of squeezed apple juice and probably half a kiwi...value of up with 0.50 cents. Ordered a ham and tomato toast and 4 slices of bread arrive with half a tomato inside each and a slice of ham. Without salt, empty, without love, without respect for the customer. All served by a boy who stares at you while you look at the menu with an idiotic expression and who perhaps should do something else with his life. Bad, everything. Maybe take a step further and look elsewhere why being made fun of in this way while you are on holiday and have eaten well EVERYWHERE throughout Portugal, honestly and nicely even in the most unlikely bar in the most remote village, even not.

We went to have a drink, and he was very careless, we had to ask him to clean the table for us, we paid him and he didn't bring us the change, and when we asked for it he brought it wrong, a disaster.

Had a nice meal on a quiet part of the busy square in the shade
Very friendly service - although centrally located, not so crowded.

After waiting 20 minutes for them to take our order. We spent more than half an hour waiting to be served. The first thing they brought us was the water we asked for for the dogs. Quite a detail on his part. But then they brought things slowly, first the water for the girl, 15 minutes later two of the three dishes, the third had to wait... and wait... but the best thing was that we ordered a sangria that when They wanted to bring it, we had half a plate eaten, WITHOUT DRINK, we were about to drink the dogs' water. They bring us the sangria and they don't give us the glasses to serve it, we had to ask two waiters for them. A disaster. The food was good, but I don't know if it was because we were starving. Our experience was BAD. Terrible service. Slow waiters looked like they were asleep. No, I don't recommend it. I'm sorry.

Long and unfriendly service. We took a burger and a salad. It's expensive for the amount that was on the plates. We are still hungry at the end of the meal.

Nice shaded terrace, but the service is long and the plates are really sparse for the price. We stay on our toes.

We stopped for a drink during our visit to Guimaraes. The attention was terrible, the woman who served us did it with reluctance and a bad face.Better to avoid this place, they are bothered by customers.

They don't serve coffee after 22:00, anyone working the second shift has to look for another place to go.
