We stumbled upon this cafe while visiting Guimaraes and it was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had! The hot chocolate was incredible and the owner treated us like we were guests in his home. Amazing food and ambiance.
I've known Café Oscar since 1999, when I arrived in Portugal...from England.It's changed its image in recent years... now it's much more chic. But prices remain reasonable.I don't think there is another cafe in Guimarāes that compares to this one. Reminds us of la belle époque. ?
Our experience at Norma was outstanding. It was a perfect evening to sit and eat on the outdoor patio. The food was creative and a perfect balance of flavors. This was our best meal in Guimarães.
