we waited for literally 2 hours to get 3 toasts with eggs on it. we had to get up, go to the counter and ask the waitress where was our food, or else we would have waited one more hour. as tourists, we waisted more than 3 hours in this restaurant.

Well placed, great for consuming a drink, for the rest I tried their Burger which is by far the most disgusting I have eaten in my life ?. A 1st price fat sole from Aldi instead of steak and fries from the freezer. I think I came across an incompetent waiter to whom I only specified mustard in the burger, it was nothing of the sort. Basically don't take their Burger for the rest I don't know

Wait too long, don't take salads, it's not worth it for 3 things on your plate, nice waitress

Ideal place to have a drink on the terrace. Pleasant medieval setting, but be careful, don't choose this place to eat. We are still waiting for the requested pepper and salt, our starter was served after finishing the main course, and yet requested several times. The fries are tiny and frozen, the francesinha was OK, but cooking is not their specialty, it's a job!!!
Friendly staff but lack of professionalism. Even the bill was delayed.

Recommended place (typical tavern) to make a stop at Plaza Largo da Oliveira, you will enjoy the hustle and bustle and the views of one of the most beautiful places
The Church of Our Lady of Oliveira in Gothic style.
Fair menu at an acceptable price. Example 200 ml beer at 1.50 and 5 "alheia croquettes"
Typical Portuguese sausage at 6 euros.
Be sure to enter the premises and see the tile mural.

Nice cafe but they didn’t have any soya or oat milk. If you can’t drink cow’s milk then you can’t have a coffee in this place. I think it’s a shame that they don’t take into account people with dietary restrictions. The staff was kind and atmosphere was lovely but this didn’t allow me to stay.

Didn't eat, only drank - therefore 3 stars.
Very nice local café in the center of Guimaraes where the entire village comes the longest, prices are ok. Friendly service

One of the best francesinhas we have eaten on our route visiting the north of Portugal. Quite spicy, yes. The alheira croquettes are also truly delicious.
It is a small but very cozy place located in the main square of the city.
