The service was the only deplorable thing. We entered the restaurant at 12:05, ordered at 12:10, and finally received the order at 12:35, taking 25 minutes to have the dish on the table. In the middle of the waiting time, we asked the waiter for clarification and were told that, as it was Sunday, it would take longer and that the cod would take longer (something they could have told us before we ordered because in that case the responsibility would be whether the customer accepts the delay of a dish or not). In the end, when we went to pay, the person responsible for the cash register, or I guess, the boss, questioned the delay, to which I mentioned that there should be more communication with the customer, indicating the delay time; and he said that it was Sunday and that nowhere would they indicate how long a dish would take and that waiting the time we waited was very good buying the time it takes to wait in a hospital. It just looked very bad and demonstrated a lack of professionalism because the client is not always right and we have to make him understand certain aspects, and that was not the case, I have worked in restoration and I have never made the client a "doll" in which there is basically the I have to wait in the morning because I also wait in a hospital, demonstrating apathy and ignorance. The food was very good, the wine was good, the only thing that fell short was the service and the lack of respect for the customer.

Another good meal for less than €7. I asked to sit down and was told to choose where I wanted. When I sat next to the window with a beautiful view, they asked me to leave as it was reserved. No stress! I got up and a friendly Portuguese couple, of advanced age, invited me to sit at the table and we had a good conversation. The Trás-os-Montes feijoada was very good.

Although the food sometimes is not supposed to be very healthy but it is very delicious. Waiters are fast and very friendly. They have also English menu if you ask. The restaurant during busy nights is so noisy that you should talk loudy in order to hear each other. Try their lombinhos and picanha (out of this world).
