We were excited to try Portuguese chicken. Our first time coming from Canada. The chicken was dry. Actually extremely dry and overcooked. The meat was under-flavored inside. The outside charr was nice however. We were disappointed. Two days after we went to E. leclerc and bought the same type of chicken. It was fifty times better, tastier, juicy and flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I am looking forward to try other churrasqueiras with properly made chicken. What’s convenient is they chop up the chicken for you. It was also nice as they gave us a few sausages for free. Those were very good! It was like 17 euros for two chickens and one thing of fries. There is a wait time.
Answer to your answer. First off- no one told me how strictly prohibited it is to take photos- and you all saw me take them- you all watched me. Your daughter even posed- she wasn’t smiling and then she smiled so I used the pretty smiling photo. I have cut her out of the photo and reposted it since you are so upset about it.
The wait time I didn’t mind- I just mentioned there was a wait time so other clients know it’s not a grab and go place.
And as for the food. The e. Leclerc chicken was way juicier we all thought. Yours was very dry, however like I mentioned the charr flavor was really nice on the outside hence the charcoal bbq.
And I am certain and know that you can control the cooking time with a charcoal bbq. We have one at home and I’ve never made chicken that dry. I simply take it off once it’s perfectly cooked and juicy.
You would improve the chicken by a lot by simply cooking it properly and not over cooking it.

I got to know the establishment through the previous manager, the chicken was great, the service was impeccable, the family atmosphere and a lot of friendliness. They served good portions at a fair price. Under current management it has gotten much worse... The chicken appears to be reheated, I asked for spicy seasoning, but the chicken didn't taste like anything. Potatoes seemed frozen and unsalted to me. Not to mention the service. Served with contempt, workers shouting loudly... I am disappointed with what this establishment that I held so dear to my heart has become. A shame…

I went to get some chicken to take home for dinner. The chicken was all dry, as it must have been from lunch and it was heated again, it was completely dry and burnt. As for the service, I also had a bad experience.
