This was the first restaurant we ate at in Portugal. It's a perfect choice to try local flavors. A small family restaurant with delicious food, polite service and information. All food is fresh and excellent. I highly recommend the lime pie!
SERIOUSLY GOOD , i had the shared Grilled Sea Bass with my wife and it cooked to perfection . Also the desert lime pie is to die for . Would definitely highly recommend
Excellent price- quality relation. Went there a Tuesday at 14 without resrrvation, they gave us a good table outside. The service is very quick and kind , and the food is very good. We took a sea bass for two, the quantities are big. The tomatoes in the salad were just AMAZING.
Traditional family restaurant by the river. We had bread, olives, a salad to start, followed by delicious Seabass and tasty potatoes and a chicken stew. The house wine was delicious and cost 6 euros for 75cl! We had a dessert, 2 espressos and a large brandy and it came to 45 euros. Incredible value and would have been a 5 if the service was better, we had to keep reminding the waiter for things.
Delicious lunch. I had the fried cod with onions and my partner had veal with garlic. Both dishes were simple but perfectly cooked. Good quality ingredients and very tasty. The tomato and onion salad was lovely. I can definitely recommend the lime pie to finish. Service was great, very helpful waiter. Fab location by the river and watching the trams go by. A must for trying authentic Portuguese food away from the main tourist area.
We enjoyed two excellent meals at this small family run restaurant. The Sea Bass dish was exceptional and the Lime Pie was delicious. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced especially considering its location overlooking the river. They accept cash only.

Great food, very friendly staff, and amazing value. We paid 73 euros for a shared dinner (7 shared dishes) for 5 people with two bottles of wine! Cash only.
Worse service in Porto. We booked this place 2 weeks in advance, called the night before to confirm and they forgot our reservation (which was inside) and made us sit outside. The servers were very rude, didn’t even bother to set the table properly, forgot our drinks. It’s 2023 and it’s cash only (or Revolut) and they don’t seem to care how unpolite they are towards customers. I do not recommend this place if you’re a large group and like friendly servers.

I could easily walked straight past this place as it doesn't look like much for the outside, but I am SO glad I gave it a try. The menu is short and sweet, which is usually a sign that every dish will be excellent - the ones I tried all were! The wine servings were very generous and everything was so cheap - I got a main, dessert, wine, and a bottle of water for €13.50. Loved it so much I went back for dinner a couple of days later when I had another delicious meal. Really nice relaxed place and the staff were so friendly, I loved it.
Visited on our first night in Porto as it was close to our apartment. O Caseirinho is a small restaurant serving authentic local food. The staff were very friendly and offered advice and recommendations. Although only small we managed to get a table as we turned up early (7pm) but it was full with locals within an hour. The food (Pork with clams and cod) was excellent and really good value (€40 for 3 courses with wine, coffee). Really enjoyed our meal, thank you.

The fish, Bacalhau assado, was delicious and nicely served. The waiter was very kind and professional. Tarte de Lima was the best dessert we ever had, delicate and delicious.
This traditional Portugese restaurant is being run by a nice family. They serve delicious traditional Portugese dishes and their lime pie is an absolute must! And on top of that they have very friendly prices. Absolutely visit this place when you are in Porto!!
