TB welcome. The pastries there are much better than elsewhere...but when you know the French or Italian ones, they seem very crude and disappointing.

We went to have traditional Guimaraes coffees and cakes at this accommodation because it was recommended to us. It cost us €12 in total and we tried the typical sweets from here.

Confectionery located in the historic center of Guimarães. There are traditional sweets from Guimarães such as Toucinho de Céu, Tortas de Guimarães and Douradinhas. The coffee is also quite good. Rating 5 stars for the friendliness of the staff! You can buy sweets and take them home, but the bakery has some tables for customers.

I ordered two famous sweets from Guimarães. Without saying a word, they wrapped it up in a box and took it out for me. We ate on chairs in the square. Both were sweet and delicious, so I recommend them.

Typical place in Guimarães, with artisan and local cakes. Even though it is old, the confectionery has charm.

The bar has a great view of the square. I tried the Pastel de Nada and honestly it wasn't one of the best I had in Portugal. The lady at the bar was very friendly and kind.

Very friendly confectionery, with traditional sweets from Guimarães: Toucinho do Céu, Torta de Guimarães and Douradinha. Our favorite was the Pie. All very sweet, as conventual sweets require. Super available and attentive staff. I thought the handmade boxes were cute. I liked it so much that I went back the next day to bring back souvenirs for the family.
