A nice meal of fresh fish cooked on the stone, we ordered the prawns, tuna, swordfish and calamari. The idea is nice, you can choose your favorite cooking. Friendly staff, characteristic place and average prices.

This well located restaurant offers enjoyable way of food preparation. As always in Azores, grilled tuna was among the best. Make sure your lava stone is hot enough.
Vegetarian options: They offer veggie burger option, which is necessary for my family

Meat was good, sauces seemed not to be homemade. Reservation is recommended, quite high prices.

The food tastes good (if you do it well;) because you get the meat ? served raw with a “lava stone” and sauce. ⚠️ Attention: Don't wear ridiculously expensive clothes (it will splash) ⚠️

Excellent products to cook on the griddle. The quantity is small for 25 euros... there are no starters on the menu. Even with dessert you leave the table very light. I would have preferred to spend more, but have a larger portion. Factoring in Azorean prices and the fact that the chef only prepares a few desserts, the final bill is high.

Very nice team, attentive, friendly service. Meat and fish of good quality and freshness. It's better to pre-order in the evening as it's very busy.

Everything is very good, except the smoke from the grill that accumulates in the room. They could improve ventilation.

Great selection of very fresh fish and/or meat that you cook yourself at your own table. Good fun too, as long as you're careful not to overcook the lovely tuna/swordfish/shrimp, etc. A bonus is that it's also open on a Sunday. Be aware it can feel a little warm, particularly upstairs, due in part to all those piping hot lava stones used to cook over. That said, very happy to recommend this quality establishment, especially if you're after something a little different.
Vegetarian options: There are some options for Veggies; but it's mostly all about the fresh fish & meat and the DIY cooking experience.

It is better to book a visit in advance; we were lucky that there was a free table. The staff is attentive and fast. Meat and seafood are fresh and tasty,
