Very interesting themed decoration that tells the story of Mr. Genuíno's travels.Incredibly tasty meat.French fries were frozen - which disappointed me when you pay more than €23 for a steak with just one side.However, the kitchen agreed to swap the potatoes for sweet potatoes (suggestion - switch to homemade fries).Very nice view of the bay, however the windows were not clean.Quality-price ratio... Very expensive.

Maybe this was just a bad day for a good restaurant. We were late in for lunch at the start of the season and the place was empty, except for the owner’s table, which is a big no-no. Staff were friendly but a bit too casual on the outfit (no further comments). Food was sub-par and different dishes had the same not-great sides (salad and stewed veggies). The place is decorated around 2 epic solo circumnavigations by, I assume, the owner. That in itself makes it amazing, but some of the memorabilia, namely the books, showed signs of aging and discoloration. Not a great gastronomical experience.

A very nice and cozy restaurant with a great ambience of a circumnavigator.The starter of baked banana with tuna dip was delicious and a new combination for us. A very nice place where you don't have to eat quickly because the table needs to be refilled. Beautifully located on Porto-Pim and definitely recommended.

Very cool place, in an incredible location and seems to have its own history. The limpets were very good even though it was not the season. From then on, everything goes less well. The piece of tuna was good but the accompaniments... a salad that didn't even try to be a salad, literally contains half a tomato, uncut, some almost burnt sweet potato chips... nothing justifies it... The prawns are also of good quality but with Frozen and poorly fried French fries. Overall, it falls short and is not worth the price.

We went yesterday, and we were seated immediately. I guess October doesn’t present the problems of June to August. The owner is super friendly and it is very interesting to talk to him about his twice circumnavigation solo. The food was good, I ate the “chicharrinhos “ which are tiny fish well fried so you can eat everything. No need to remove the tiny bones. Service was kind but a bit inexperienced. House wine not wow but not bad.

75 mins wait on a steak which came with oven chips and tired salad. Service was terrible, food was terrible and vastly overpriced compared to other restaurants in Horta. A very poor experience. No apology offered when asked why the wait, completely ignored. Avoid this restaurant.
