We had a vegetarian meal; the salad with hummus and the tofu with peanutsauce.
The tofudish was vegan, had enough protein but no vegetables, the salad was really tasty.
Lots of choice in drinks and we lives the dessert!

The place is emblematic for its decoration and history, and has a good terrace to enjoy a beer. He lives off his popularity and charm. But I don't recommend eating here at all. The food is mediocre, at an incredibly expensive price (one of the most expensive in Faial) and with long waits. There are much better options in Horta.

For Italians. A dive/dirty place. A friend was left without eating because they didn't mark the order. I recommend it only for drinking a gin and tonic or for a beer accompanied by an appetizer (garlic bread, limpets, and possibly cheese) then escape and go for dinner somewhere else. Expensive and not convenient. I took a mix of skewers, 25 euros for 3 pieces of meat. Avoid thanks

It is the most famous place in Horta and rightly so. Unique atmosphere with flags and objects of shipping companies, great food with local products and fast service.
Reservations are recommended because they are always very full, but if you're lucky you can get on the waiting list to be called. One of those famous and touristy places that is worth enjoying

Great harbor pub and not only that. Super nice staff, nice outposts, great value for money. Legendary and rightly so, you have to go there when you are in Horta. Keep it up guys, the store is just unbelievably good and you make it so.
