We had dinner at this restaurant and the experience was totally awful: - The restaurant is crowded and very noisy. No issue here as it is a family and tourist place. - Staff is not friendly at all. - They brought the wrong order to our table three times! - We ordered a sea food plate with three types of food: o Fried shrimps, that were overcooked in too much olive olive. o Crab (sapateira in Portuguese) which consisted in some of the inner meat of the crab swimming in mayonnaise. Where were the crab’s tongs and legs? No answer from the staff! o Last but not least: barnacles, that should be very tasty, but they were not, they weren’t even salted! The staff took them away without any explanation or apology. - Of course they charged us the full bill! Please avoid this restaurant unless you are in risk of starvation!!!

Our family is visiting Sao Pedro de Moel and, we have now visited almost all restaurants in town. We can certainly say, Estrela do Mar is quite possibly the best! Not only the food is delicious, the staff is second to none. We highly recommend anyone in Sao Pedro do Moel, if you have not yet stoped by Estrela do Mar, do so and you will have a great dinner and amazing service.

Great food and a lot of choice. We took a local dish, arroz de marisco, which was very tasty. Great view of the ocean and attentive service. Nice terrace for lunch.
