It’s simple, it’s the very example of what a restaurant should be. Choice and quality on the plate, in the details, in the service and in the presentation, dishes with sophisticated recipes, but accessible and tasty. Hearty dishes, but without exaggeration. The setting is deliciously rustic and neat, in a decoration without unnecessary frills. The stone walls bring a natural freshness to the room. A detail that stood out to me was the brightness which, quite simply, was perfect. We will come back for these chicken escalopes with mango, or these little pork escalopes with truffle. The vegetables were fresh and excellent. Traditional starters were not, as is often the case, just a way to increase the bill, as restaurants in Portugal often practice. The sumptuous, surprising and exquisite desserts: fresh fruit skewer with crème brûlée and Sicilian lemon tart on biscuit and meringue. Without a doubt, one of my best gastronomic experiences in Portugal.

Very good experience. Friendly service, neither too much nor too little. The food was very well prepared, from the starters with butter (homemade?), to the steak with vintage sauce and ending with the dessert, soggy, everything was very good. Possibility of wine by the glass. Very pleasant internal environment. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

It's a nice place, a good space for a family meal. We ordered Steak with Madeira sauce and Port wine and medallions with cheese sauce. The starters we were served were also quite tasty, with the addition of goat butter. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices for the quantity of dishes. We recommend the visit.

The food is competent without, however, justifying the high prices in a place decorated with plastic flowers.
The service is bad. There was no attention at our table and they removed the starters 15 minutes before serving the meal, not having brought them back when we asked for them. After finishing the meal, the dishes remained on the table for more than ten minutes without anyone coming to pick them up or asking if we wanted dessert, which we ended up doing without, as well as coffee.
