Very good little restaurant, the waiters and the owner go out of their way for the customers and are very kind? I recommend it

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly and the Bizarre:
The Good: The service was friendly.
The Bad: All the cutlery was filthy and we had to wipe all our forks, knives & spoons clean with our water & paper napkins. All the food was absolutely bland and consisted of a lot of bones, the sauces were stretched with water and the desserts made from the packet (powder & water).
The Ugly: The bill included a few positions for things we neither ordered nor consumed and was overpriced for the quality provided (EUR 42.60 for 3 people, our drinks were water & coffee).
The Bizarre: We were the last guests to leave and were quite entertained to see the crew, the owners and two staff, sit down to eat their own lunch consisting of paper bags full of MacDonald's take-away. They even treated themselves to MacDonald's french fries, scorning the sides they had served us with our meals.
This definitely was the worst food we have eaten since living in Portugal for 3 years.

The owner and the cook were very kind and attentive, the food was very tasty and the dish was really full, she even took the time to ask us if we wanted anything else from our orders at no cost... delicious desserts, a place with a welcoming and good atmosphere, good coffee and delicious...I highly recommend it...????

Typical traditional restaurant, with homemade products. Simpleness to the maximum, I missed these days the care in plating and the way the service is carried out. But in general there is friendliness in the welcome.

Fatima looked after us even with our language barrier. Had the plate of the day, generous and delicious. Basic Portuguese fare at a good price. Highly recommend.

Great place for lunch! I had the stewed beef, and my friends ordered the bife de vaca and the bacalao. The servings are more than enough. It’s good we arrived really early. The place was packed halfway through our meal.

The fried turkey with mushrooms was very herty and delicious. From wine to mango mousse, everything was served well, and the atmosphere was very warm.

Bad food, except the fries. The meat was nothing special and dripped with fat (a real puddle of oil on the plate). The tomato rice looked like it had been around the day before or had been a few days old. The starter bread was also old (or of poor quality) and the starter olives were preserved according to the chemicals in the can/jar. When confronted with this, the owner justified herself by saying it was no longer olive season and she couldn't find any homemade olives... which is not at all a true excuse, nor acceptable to anyone who knows the region. Terrible. Come on, the meal cost €10. Without a doubt, to avoid.
