Do not even think about going elsewhere. We ate here for dinner and the meal was outstanding for the quality and price. I ate grilled sardines which came with potatoes and a huge salad. My husband ate lamb chops which also was abundant and although the meat was a bit tough it was flavorful. Portugal is not meat based and so the preference is always for fish. However this restaurant is for fish and meat eaters. Vegetarians delight in the very abundant and varied salads offered. For dessert the berry mousse was also good. Do not overlook this restaurant which I wish I would have found for lunch since the offerings were more than the other restaurants in Obidos.

We had breakfast omelettes here. Am excellent and quieter spot in the castle to relax and have a nice long breakfast. Incredible coffee and friendly helpful service. Always a good sign when all the locals come for their morning coffee.

There are many sidewalk restaurants in Obidos. We chose this one most because it looked quiet and had an available table. The waiter was a very nice older man and we wanted to like the place, but the pizza was just ok, and grilled sole that my wife ordered was "not very good." Sorry about that.
