Ring the Bell! Yes, this is EXACTLY what we did to get admitted on Oct 9, 2023 …my last night visiting Portugal before flying off first thing tomorrow. Told my friends who brought me here, that I feel like going to meet the mafia :) I was told it’s hard to secure a reservation unless there’s some last minute cancellations. Viola ! You get transported into a time warp of the British era, complete with wooden furnishings and waiters formally dressed but certainly not opulent. I find the seating rather cramp and the acoustics poor. Well, when a restaurant boldly advertises herself to have the best steaks in town, how can one possibly skip the steak ? I went for a non-carbs O tradicional bife, served with spinach…. But I suspect their signature creamy sauce is calorie laden. It was probably unique because I rarely eat beef with creamy sauce. The BEST? Ah no. Above average ? Yes. Personally, I’d stick to my Japanese Wagyu. Good selection of wines too. The service however, was impeccable.

We booked this fabulous restaurant based on a recommendation we received. The staff were most helpful. We arrived 10 minutes before our booking which was also 10 minutes before they opened. However , the opened their doors to us and allowed us to have a drink while we waited. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing. We loved our experience there. Don’t waste anytime- get booking this place for your trip to Lisbon.

Perfect steak was beautifully grilled. The waiter's attitude was professional. Overall I would say the perfect meal.

Our waiter was the cutest and most fun man! He truly made the experience far better than we expected. The mixologist was also fun and created drinks for us. The steaks were delectable and I dreamed of the meal every night after that. Will definitely visit again.

Overall great food, amazing steak, starters was really good, im not a shrimp guy and had this shrimp with garlic and this Portuguese sauce and it was to die for, would 100% recommend

From the ringing of the doorbell to being lead In behind the velvet curtain… last night was a wonderful experience. Our waiter recommended everything from our wine, to our yummy cheese appetizer to their fabulous chocolate cake. Our filets were cooked to perfection!
